Ale Gudey
I am Alejandra Gutiérrez Deyra, known as Ale Gudey, a multidisciplinary artist from Zapotlanejo, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. I have always been creative since childhood; I have dedicated myself to plastic arts in a self-taught manner since 2016.
My work is distinguished by creating art on wood with acrylics; some works are also in relief, reusing pieces of wood, as well as bark and tree branches. Some of my pieces are a combination of painting and sculpture, as I form figures with pieces and planks of wood.
One of my most symbolic works was a cuckoo clock I made for Fher of Maná, made with the wooden plank on which his Teleolmos guitar was crafted; a work that gave me the opportunity to meet him.
In each piece I create there is a story, putting my heart into the entire process; art has been an important part of my life, it has helped me overcome difficulties and share joys. I have participated in several collective exhibitions and as a painter in "Una pincelada por la vida" (A Brushstroke for Life), experiences for which I am grateful.
