Emmar is a multidisciplinary artist born in Guadalajara in 2004. Her practice mainly develops in copperplate engraving and painting. Through symbolism and the fusion of human and animal figures, Emmar examines the tensions between bodies and territory.

Her work articulates the intimate with the esoteric, addressing painful dimensions of collective imaginaries and their structures. Conceiving the artistic process as a space for sublimation, self-exploration, and connection with the environment.
