Lesly Barbosa Sánchez (2003, State of Mexico) is an emerging Mexican visual artist, currently studying at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving "La Esmeralda".

Through her own writings and self-portraiture, she seeks to express the feelings that affect her, from the collective experience as a woman to experiences that violate the body itself: she redefines the concepts of life and death, in an effort to make the invisible visible; at the same time, she plays with natural elements, bringing the relationship between their symbolisms and the corporeal to the canvas.

She has participated in at least ten collective projects in independent spaces, galleries, cultural centers and museums, such as the Soumaya Museum.
