Michel Ochoa
Michel Ochoa was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. At 36 years old, she has dedicated the last 15 years or so to her artistic work. From childhood, she discovered her passion for drawing, which led to her dedication to art. She recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts for Plastic Expression from the CUAAD Institute at the University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
His work employs expressive figurative imagery, representing a human psychological or behavioral state, a state of animalistic survival where the individual instinctively attempts to consume the world, through figures mostly accompanied by a dog with the shadow of a bull. The shadow of the bull embodies human madness, serving as an analogy to the myth of the Minotaur of Crete.
The dog emerges as a spiritual companion, symbolizing a transition of consciousness between death and rebirth.
