Rubén Olivier
Mexican photographer, originally from Poza Rica, Veracruz.
At the age of eleven, he discovered the magic of photography thanks to a gift, and that's when he got his first camera. Since then, he has had extraordinary photography teachers, both in Mexico and the United States. He is a frequent attendee of various academies to learn and master diverse photographic techniques, specializing in portraiture, nature, and, above all, exploring the technique of photo-impressionism through multi-exposure photography.
In 1993, he won 1st place nationally in Mexico in the Kodak national competition, with the portrait titled, "Snow White 80 Years Later."
He currently resides in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico.
