Thania Loera
My name is Thania Loera, a visual artist from Guadalajara.
My first professional approach to the creative field was as a graphic designer in technical secondary school. After that, I completed a vocational art and painting program in high school. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts for Plastic Expression at UDG, and I am close to graduating.
I have participated in various collective exhibitions, including two at the Jorge Martínez Gallery at CUAAD, one at the Creative Psychological Center, and my most recent participation at Apolo Art Fest.
My work leans towards painting and drawing using mixed media, although I recently discovered a fondness for printmaking. I have experimented with the qualities of all these techniques.
As an artist, I believe the most rewarding aspect is the process of experimentation, resolving and discovering the ways in which materials and ideas interact.
