Yadritd Morales

Emerging artist and illustrator of Mexican origin best known for her works based on the embroidery technique, with which she always manages to create a harmony of texture, color and shapes in an immense universe of possibilities to create her surreal portraits.

Influenced initially by her grandmother who introduced her to this magical world of threads, and later by directly experiencing the visual culture of her Mexico and recognizing the significant legacy of the Mexica and Maya cultures, the artist immersed herself in a world of colors and creative possibilities.

Navigating through his work, we find representations of humans and animals, mostly felines and birds, with the deep, intense gazes being the primary focus, from which the rest of the composition stems. Upon closer inspection, we can discover elements of nature, such as flowers and fungi, that complement the final narrative.
