Yadritd Morales
An emerging artist and illustrator of Mexican origin, best known for her works based on the embroidery technique, with which she always manages to create a harmony of texture, color, and shapes within an immense universe of possibilities to create her surreal portraits.
Initially influenced by her grandmother, who introduced her to this magical world of threads, and later directly experiencing the visual culture of her Mexico and recognizing the significant legacy of the Mexica and Maya cultures, the artist plunged into a world of colors and creative possibilities.
Navigating through her work, we can find representations of humans or animals, mostly felines and birds, with deep and intense gazes being the primary focal point from which the rest of the composition stems. If we look closely, we can find elements of nature, such as flowers, mushrooms, etc., that complement the final narrative.
