Alice is a piece inspired by "Alice in Wonderland." This work depicts a girl as the main character (Alice) sitting on a stair landing holding a magnifying glass. The glass reveals a jar; its contents increase or decrease her body proportions, or in her case, distort her perception. The key, the access to Wonderland, is nothing more than access to her unconscious, an inner world governed by duality. On the walls, like graffiti, are the hat representing madness, and the cat mask, which in the story is perceived as a being that appears and disappears, advising and making her doubt, could be taken as reason. Just to one side, part of a cat can be seen, representing her being in both worlds, inside and outside. The rabbit is represented as a sticker on her back; she doesn't notice it, but time continues. Her path, hurried or slow, continues. The ground sinks, meaning she is already entering Wonderland, yet her eyes meet the spectator, inviting us to enter or continue on our way.
