The artwork manifests as a threshold. The fragmented face embodies an inner vigil where consciousness opens to midnight: an hour of transition, of invisible messages. Colors vibrate like clashing energy fields, and the eyes function as portals; they don't observe the world, they pierce through it. Outside doesn't indicate a physical place, but a state of the soul: being out of the body, suspended between what has passed and what has not yet arrived.

From the heart:

It is a portrait of absolute vulnerability. The call awakens an emotion that doesn't ask for permission, and the body responds before thought. The colors are not ordered because the heart isn't either: they overlap, tremble, burn. The eyes bear the weight of the unspoken, and the telephone becomes an extension of affection. Painting was the only way not to break.

The piece translates an episode of anxiety into visual language. The chromatic contrast responds to opposing states: control and overflow. The frontal face compels the viewer to hold their gaze, while the dark and saturated background simulates cognitive noise. The telephone acts as a central narrative element: an everyday object transformed into an emotional trigger.
