Collographic printing is a relief or intaglio printing technique based on the construction of a matrix through the accumulation and collage of materials. In this piece, it is part of a series where I incorporate an origami representation of the main figure, which gives the piece its name and functions as a metaphor for the fragility of nature and its precarious balance in the face of intervention.
