This piece emerged from those days where you stop overthinking and just start scribbling for the sake of it (where everything becomes pure instinct). In a country house, far from everything, with some spray cans, without a sketch and without any expectations. I just wanted to lose myself for a while among colors, lines, and splotches, to be disconnected from everything and feel free, present, and young.

Weeks later, I returned to the same canvas at a completely different moment. I was unmotivated, aimless, uncomfortable, and questioning whether I even wanted to continue painting. That's why I ended up adding more things, covering up what was once that rich but ephemeral spontaneity, so now I had to exaggerate other lines, hiding what it once felt like to experience that beautiful sensation of feeling free, even if it was fleeting.

Visually, it has a bit of everything, and I don't like that. There are references, mistakes, recycled ideas, and
techniques I'd surely used before. But that's precisely what I like about the piece. It doesn't try to be perfect or revolutionary. It's more of a record of various moments from my days, from my mid-20s, colliding on the same surface.

For me, this work has great value because it reminded me that sometimes painting doesn't have to be so serious, and that human experiences are what determine our own art. Sometimes it's just about grabbing a wall, a can, and letting whatever happens, happen.
