It's not that I'm not creating... it's that I'm at a point where my own gaze is no longer enough for me.

I have stopped doing, yes, but not out of emptiness, but because something within me is reconfiguring. As if what used to work—the strokes, the colors, the way I understood my language—is no longer sufficient for what I want to say now, even if I don't yet know exactly what that is.

There's a pause, but it's not passive. It's uncomfortable, almost tense. As if my intuition is faster than my ability to translate it. I feel like I'm between two versions of myself: the one I've mastered and the one I haven't yet managed to build.

In the midst of this process, the canvas stops being a space of control and becomes a mirror. One that doesn't respond with clarity, but with questions.

Perhaps I am not stopped.

Perhaps I am fine-tuning something that doesn't yet have a name.
