This is a triptych; the dog is an animal that connects us with our humanity. It teaches you about loyalty, expecting nothing from you but unconditional love. The first part of the triptych shows silhouettes of dogs, along with the roots of trees, representing the earthly world, what makes us feel and live on this planet, what makes us alive.
The second part of the triptych shows the human skeleton and that of a dog, which help contain the soul. This part connects us with the spiritual world or the world of ideas; thanks to this skeleton, we can protect all our organs and be perfect living beings to inhabit the earth. Finally, the third part is what I interpret as that plane we don't know, where the soul goes once it detaches from the human body, to travel and be one with life and space itself. The dog's soul is the one that goes to this place, because as a pure and innocent being, it is the guide on this path.
