Who would the herbalist's wife be? What's her name? What does she do?
I imagined she must be a wise woman, who cares for the community. Connected with
nature, the earthly and the divine. With a deep knowledge of medicinal plants,
good at conversation and listening. A woman who heals with her hands; who with her
songs and dances performs cleansings, attends births...

And that her world opens up a reality in which women move, it is the female
universe.
I was so enthusiastic about the idea, and how it looked in my head, that I promised myself, I promised
to paint her.
