The artwork presents a conflict resolved through progress. The central figure is not defined by stable contours, but by layers of color that push against each other: this transforms the body into a process, not a finished form. The man and the steed are not clearly distinguishable because, symbolically, they are the same: will in motion.

The background, constructed as a taut grid, functions as a system, a limit, a pre-existing structure. It does not fully enclose; it is visually fractured by the insistence of the brushstroke. There is no escape, there is conscious rupture. The frontal gaze asserts presence: he who advances has already decided.

The color is emotional yet strategic. The blues sustain identity, the oranges and yellows activate impulse, the black contrasts mark resistance. The correction of an initial error becomes a gesture of leadership: transforming failure into direction.
