This work was part of the collective exhibition (Summer days (embracing sun) ESSAV, León, Gto. 2024. The theme dealt with topics such as heat, summer, pollution, etc.
Between smoke and organic geometry, the work portrays a city consumed by its own machinery. The sun, distorted and embracing, observes a landscape where pollution transforms the sky into a dense and suffocating atmosphere.
Repetitive forms evoke both growth and decay, reminding us that progress without conscience ends up altering the natural balance. The name of the piece is inspired by Childish Gambino's song Feels Like Summer, capturing that feeling of silent heat and unsettling beauty that coexists with environmental deterioration.
