This work was part of the group exhibition (Summer days (embracing sun) ESSAV, León, Gto. 2024. The themes included heat, summer, pollution, etc.
Between smoke and organic geometry, the work portrays a city consumed by its own machinery. The sun, deformed and scorching, observes a landscape where pollution transforms the sky into a dense and suffocating atmosphere.
The repetitive forms evoke both growth and wear, reminding us that progress without conscience ends up altering the natural balance. The name of the piece is inspired by Childish Gambino's song "Feels Like Summer", capturing that feeling of silent heat and unsettling beauty that coexists with environmental deterioration.
