"Froot Loops were only for kids." This piece is an analogy for age and how its development continues, no matter how young we want to appear. It is based on a phrase from a 90s commercial for a children's cereal company, which is still active. This piece depicts a 19th-century/early 20th-century architectural house, an old house, with modern elements of urban life that reflect the passage of time. The woman, in the center, takes off her blouse and toucan mask. She knows she is no longer a young girl, that her youth has passed, and that another stage in her adult life is beginning. The dog just observes, unaware; the only thing he is aware of is who she is and how she has grown.
